{"id":2692,"date":"2020-11-29T15:56:50","date_gmt":"2020-11-29T08:56:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ifs.edu.vn\/?p=2692"},"modified":"2025-03-29T15:57:46","modified_gmt":"2025-03-29T08:57:46","slug":"the-working-delegation-of-xin-man-district-peoples-committee-visits-and-works-at-the-institute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ifs.edu.vn\/?p=2692&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"The Working Delegation of Xin Man District People&#8217;s Committee Visits and Works at the Institute"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>November 27, 2020<\/strong>, within the framework of discussions, exchanges, and the signing of a <strong>cooperation agreement<\/strong> between <strong>Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry<\/strong> and the <strong>People\u2019s Committee of Xin Man District \u2013 Ha Giang Province<\/strong>, a delegation from the <strong>Xin Man District People&#8217;s Committee<\/strong> visited the <strong>facilities and seedling nursery<\/strong> at the <strong>Institute of Forestry Research and Development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ifrad.vn\/media\/stories\/images\/9c9288d28b19daeb9c923318c08c2292.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The delegation was welcomed by <strong>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha<\/strong>, Director of the Institute, along with the heads and deputy heads of affiliated units. The delegation toured the <strong>facilities, tissue culture laboratory, and high-tech nursery system<\/strong> of the Institute.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ifrad.vn\/media\/stories\/images\/afe7f32e5bc4102066c276616beeded9.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Institute Director <strong>Ha<\/strong> introduced the <strong>scientific research programs<\/strong> that the Institute has implemented and is currently conducting. With strong <strong>scientific expertise<\/strong> and <strong>modern research equipment<\/strong>, the <strong>Institute of Forestry Research and Development<\/strong> at <strong>Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry<\/strong> has, for many years, focused on <strong>identifying, preserving, breeding, and propagating numerous orchid species<\/strong>, particularly those classified as <strong>rare and valuable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ifrad.vn\/media\/stories\/images\/37efea95651f652a8cc72c836ecb2b42.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cIf we do not make efforts to conserve, one day these rare species will disappear. Our work is, first and foremost, to contribute to biodiversity conservation, and secondly, we hope that our scientific products will have a societal impact\u2014both protecting the forests and improving the livelihoods of people in mountainous areas.\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The delegation also toured the <strong>infrastructure and various experimental planting models<\/strong> at the Institute.
