On the afternoon of November 17, 2020, as part of the working program with Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF) for the seminar on “Needs, Opportunities, and Challenges in Technology Transfer in the Northern Mountainous Region,”<\/strong> a delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by Deputy Minister Tran Van Tung, visited the Institute of Forestry Research and Development.<\/p>\n The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Institute’s leadership and all staff members. Institute Director Tran Thi Thu Ha<\/strong> introduced the delegation to the Institute’s collection of rare medicinal orchids<\/strong> being cultivated and preserved. With advanced scientific expertise and research facilities, the Institute has been focusing for many years on identifying, preserving, breeding, and propagating various orchid species, particularly rare and valuable ones<\/strong> such as Lycopodium (Thong Dat), Anoectochilus (Lan Kim Tuyen), and Dendrobium officinale (Lan Thach Hoc Tia)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Institute\u2019s High-Tech Nursery<\/strong> plays a crucial role in research and the production of high-quality seedlings<\/strong>.
