Implementation of the Project: “Research and Assessment of the Status of Endangered, Precious, and Rare Forest Plant Species in the Kim Hy Nature Reserve and Proposal of Management, Conservation, and Development Measures”<\/p>\n

As part of the project implementation, the Institute of Forestry and Sustainable Development has provided research equipment, including 10 computers and 5 mobile phones, to the staff of the Kim Hy Nature Reserve Management Board. This is a crucial step in enhancing technical capacity and supporting research and conservation monitoring activities for rare and endangered plant species.<\/p>\n

In parallel with the equipment handover, two training sessions were organized for the forest ranger station staff. The first training session, titled \u201cIdentification of Rare and Precious Plants for Forest Ranger Staff,\u201d aimed to equip participants with knowledge of classification and identification of endangered, precious, and rare plant species in the region.<\/p>\n

The second training session, titled \u201cUsing SMART for Forest Ranger Staff: Plot Establishment, Plant Identification, and Field Data Collection,\u201d focused on training participants in the application of the SMART software for management and conservation. Additionally, it provided guidance on setting up survey plots and assessing ecological parameters in the field.<\/p>\n

These activities mark an important initial step in the implementation of the project, contributing to the sustainable management and conservation of rare and precious plant species in the Kim Hy Nature Reserve.<\/p>\n
