As part of the 2016 Provincial Reporters’ Conference organized by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, on the afternoon of October 25, 2016, a delegation of reporters from the Provincial Party Committee, led by Mr. Le Van Tuan, Head of the Propaganda Department, visited the Institute of Forestry Research and Development.

Welcoming the delegation, on behalf of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nong, Vice Rector. Representing the Institute of Forestry Research and Development was Dr. Le Van Phuc, Deputy Director.

On behalf of the institute, Dr. Le Van Phuc introduced the delegation to the institute’s history, development, and notable achievements in scientific research and technology transfer over the years.

The delegation had the opportunity to visit the institute’s facilities, including the nursery system, greenhouse system, and plant tissue culture laboratory.

After the tour of the research facilities and equipment, Mr. Le Van Tuan highly appreciated the institute’s achievements and its development in recent years.
