On September 8, 2016, a working delegation from the People’s Committee of Vi Xuyen District, Ha Giang Province, led by Mr. Le Thanh Hai – Vice Chairman of the District People’s Committee, visited and worked with the Institute of Forestry Research and Development.

The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Director of the Institute of Forestry Research and Development, along with representatives from specialized departments.

After touring the research facilities and technological infrastructure, Vice Chairman Le Thanh Hai expressed his desire to collaborate with the Institute in technology transfer and forestry technical services. He emphasized the importance of developing solutions to improve the efficiency of post-harvest plantation forests and promoting medicinal plant cultivation under forest canopies. These efforts aim to enhance the productivity, quality, and sustainability of production forests in Vi Xuyen District in the coming years.

This visit opened up new opportunities for cooperation in forestry development and established a strong, long-term partnership between both parties.
