Launching of project: Learning Center For Zero Emission And Climate Resilience In Northern Viet Nam

Date

Recognizing the fact that Viet Nam has been ranked among the top five countries in the world likely to be most affected by climate change, Brot für die Welt (BfdW), the International Center for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF, also known as World Agroforestry), Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF), and the Institute of Forest and Sustainable Development (IFS) have been working together in a meaningful project called “Learning Center for Zero Emission and Climate Resilience in Northern Viet Nam”, or LEARN-VN Project.
LEARNVN Project has a vision to contribute to support Viet Nam to realize the commitment made by its Government at COP26 – UN Climate Change Conference on NetZero Emission by 2050.

The Climate Learning Center is a professional center accessible to the public that covers a wide range of climate issues and actions, functions as a knowledge hub, allows demonstration of local community’s leadership in natural resource management, offers multi-stakeholder network and partnership, and connects with global networks.
