On the morning of September 22, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Director of the Institute of Forestry Research and Development (IFRD), led a delegation from Quang Nam Province, headed by Mr. Huynh Tan Duc, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Nam Province, to visit and work with the Ha Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The delegation was warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien, Deputy Director of the Ha Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, along with leaders from the Ha Giang Forest Protection Department.

During the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha introduced the Quang Nam delegation to the Ha Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. In response, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dien provided an overview of Ha Giang’s natural conditions, topography, climate, agricultural practices, and socio-economic factors in forestry and agricultural development. The Quang Nam delegation also shared details about their province’s natural conditions and agricultural development efforts. A key focus of the discussion was on the management and development of medicinal plants in both provinces.

At the end of the meeting, the delegates exchanged views on potential cooperation and partnerships between the two sides, laying the foundation for a long-term collaboration in the future.
