As part of the capacity-building project on climate change training (Clidev) with Finnish partners, in 2023, a delegation from the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education visited and worked with Tai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.

The delegation discussed research directions, training, and future cooperation with Tai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry. The visit was hosted by faculty members and participants involved in the project activities.

During the meeting, the project team reported to the Finnish delegation on the significant achievements of the project, including: developing course outlines, preparing and establishing infrastructure for online training, transferring project techniques to students and staff both within and outside the university, building and managing the project website to promote and disseminate information to readers and partners, and using financial resources accurately and appropriately. The team also shared proposals and new ideas to enhance cooperation between Tai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and Finnish partners in the coming years.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their desire to continue effectively implementing project activities in the future. They also committed to further developing and specifying cooperation, exchanges, and support between the two parties to promote sustainable forestry and mitigate the negative impacts of climate change on development.
