As part of the project “Enhancing Climate Change Education for Sustainable Development in Vietnam” (Clidev), and in line with the project’s activities for 2023, the project team at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry organized a training session on using the Moodle/MOOCs online teaching platform for faculty members on December 22, 2023.

The training session was attended by faculty members from various departments within Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants learned and exchanged knowledge and skills, including: fundamental knowledge of the Moodle platform, techniques for designing online courses and lectures, developing question banks, managing learners, grading, and overseeing online classes, and creating and uploading lecture videos on Moodle. These skills are essential for future teaching activities.

Through this training, participants gained insights and exchanged ideas not only on the technical aspects of managing, developing, and conducting online classes but also engaged in discussions to enhance collaboration in online education within the university. Additionally, participants recommended that the university could expand the use of this application in its online education efforts and organize similar training sessions to reach more individuals, aiming to improve human resources and the quality of online education at the university in the future.
